This ia a weekly class held on Wednesday mornings from 9 to noon.  Using a variety of water-based media your paintings will develop into layers with new techniques and exciting new processes.  Lots of individual instruction.  Critiques are part of the class. 

This workshop is held at Reservoir Park Multi-Purpose Studio in Harrisburg.  Encaustic is a unique beeswax medium.  Although ancient in origin, encaustic remains the most versatile, durable, and beautiful of all artists media.  This workshop is a hands-on class where you will learn many different techniques.  Only a few supplies are required since Linda furnishes most items, including supports, beeswax and resins.  A $40 supply fee is payable at the first class.  Be sure to request a supply list when registering.  Times are April 9 (Friday evening) 6:30-9, Saturday, April 10, 9-4 and Sunday, April 11, 9-3.  Non-member cost is $120.00

This ongoing class is held at the Art Association of Harrisburg on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Want to break out of your norm?  Getting tired of the "same old thing"? This will be a fun workshop - what it won't be is a workshop to learn how to paint - instead it will be a workshop to learn "HOW TO PAINT WITH ENCAUSTIC" (beeswax, resin and pigment).  You will lean how to paint your favorite subject whether it be abstract, floral, landscape of even portrait.  Cost for non- members is $120.00  There is a $35.00 materials fee payable at time of workshop.
